Cynthia Davis is a versatile and accomplished professional with a diverse background spanning human resources, non-profit leadership, education, and various industries, including poultry, manufacturing, engineering, safety, and facilities management. With over 15 years of experience in human resources, Cynthia has worked with organizations ranging from innovative startups to Fortune 500 companies, delivering results and driving positive change through her expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and organizational development.
Throughout her career, Cynthia has gained valuable experience in the poultry, manufacturing, and engineering industries, where she has successfully implemented HR strategies and initiatives that have improved organizational performance and employee satisfaction. Her knowledge of safety protocols and facilities management has enabled her to create and maintain safe and efficient work environments, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
In recognition of her outstanding contributions to the field of human resources, Cynthia has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Human Resources from Action Leadership Institute. This prestigious honor is a testament to her expertise, leadership, and dedication to the Human Resources profession.
In addition to her corporate HR experience, Cynthia is the co-founder of Mentor’s Choice, Incorporated, a non-profit organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of underserved populations. Through her leadership and passion for giving back, Cynthia has spearheaded numerous programs focusing on community development, community outreach, mentorship, and workforce development/job training, positively impacting at-risk individuals, the elderly, and veterans in her community.
As a certified teacher and lifelong learner, Cynthia enjoys sharing her knowledge with others and regularly tutors students in various subjects. Her ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds and adapt her teaching style to their individual needs has earned her a reputation as a dedicated and effective tutor.
Cynthia’s unique combination of HR expertise, industry knowledge, non-profit leadership experience, and passion for education allows her to approach challenges from multiple perspectives and develop innovative solutions. Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Alcorn State University and is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts degree from Jackson State University.
